Start the New Year with recycling your kitchen food waste!
Stop adding to the landfill scourge!
It's easy, quick, and doesn't smell! Bokashi combats food-rotting bacteria (and rotting odors), increases the speed of decomposition and enhances plant growth.
Bokashi composting is an anaerobic method that uses a special additive to pickle kitchen waste into healthy, nutrient-rich soil for your plants.

WORKSHOP PRICES:
Workshop is FREE, but $5-$10 donations to Sustainable Little Tokyo are welcome!
Supplies to make 1 bag of bokashi: $5
Bokashi Kit (1 bucket set + bokashi supplies for 1 bag): $25
Sliding scale for low-income individuals!
We will be accepting cash or Venmo only

Masks and social distancing required. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Workshop will be on the JACCC Plaza.

Facilitated by Amy Honjiyo
