ART @ 341 FSN presents:
STORY QUILT WORKSHOP: WEAVING SOLIDARITY ECONOMIES
Time: 2 hours

Solidarity economy is a framework for a new economic system — a transformation of capitalism — that considers equity in all dimensions and the rights of Mother Earth. Asian immigrant and refugee communities have long survived and thrived by practicing cooperation and mutual aid. We will explore our rich histories of cooperative practices in our families and communities. We will then weave together our stories with our visions for a solidarity economy, culminating in a quilt of our dreams for a Little Tokyo community economics.
