BETWEEN PLACE: Somatic Movement Workshops
Saturdays 1–3pm, July 13, 20, 27 and August 3
JACCC, 244 S. San Pedro Street

Our LTSC +LAB Artists in Residence, Isak Immanuel and Marina Fukushima, will be leading a series of somatic-based experimental movement workshops. Move for release, relaxation, restriction, fluidity, and image. Cultivate listening to your own body and senses to explore the dynamics of presence and a sensitive relationship to place. These workshops are influenced by Noguchi Taisou methods and a hybrid dance process.

Open to all ages and abilities, these are accessible, low-impact movement workshops.

Part of a series of residency events with the collective theme: “Ending Cycles of Displacement.”
