We are continuing the fight for First Street North, a block critical to the past, present, and future of our community. The block is slated to go up for development this year, and our community demands control of the development. Be a part of the Art Action Committee, as we plan two projects to educate, empower, and mobilize our larger LA communities!

1. LTSC's Matsumura Storefront: Curate and organize art programming for the 1st St storefront space for 2 months and coordinating other off-site pop-up events, such as basement parties that highlight the hidden history of the block.
2. Art Activation Event: A culmination of the Matsumura Storefront programming as a 1-2 day art festival that actualizes the SLT Community Vision for First Street North!
