The #90x90LA Little Tokyo Cultural Spine series, part 1 of 4. We invite you to join us for 4 consecutive Wednesdays, July 19–August 9, of site-specific readings and performances in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles—the second oldest neighborhood in L.A. and one of three remaining historic Japantowns in the nation. Come along a short tour of the Little Tokyo Cultural Spine, a pathway highlighting many of our neighborhood's vibrant historic and cultural sites, and explore 133-years of history, resilience, and self-determination.

The first tour, Intersections, moves from the Old Nishi Buddhist temple to the New Nishi temple, and ends with intimate booth readings and happy hour at Mitsuru Sushi & Grill, a longtime Japanese American diner and Little Tokyo staple. See the route here!

All sidewalks along the route are ADA accessible, but we may encounter construction areas with narrowed access. There are few public bathrooms in Little Tokyo but there are single-stall bathrooms at Mitsuru Sushi & Grill at the end.
